BANZAI!

I haven't written a journal forever, and I need to write about the con, so this works perfectly! I've already posted a few pictures of my costume, but it doesn't really make that much sense if you don't know the story and such.

The con was amazing. It really was. It's big enough that you see tons of people, and you don't always see the same person twice, but small enough to make a lot of friends. Patti and her mom stressed over the costumes frantically, which I feel horrible about, but it's been an insane weekend for all of us. We owe her cookies and much more. The first day we went as The Sailor Scouts again. I was Jupiter, and we updated our outfits to look more like the live action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon outfits. Mine wasn't nearly as dramatic of a change as Patti's. She did Dark Mercury and it looked amazing. I'll have to manipulate a picture of her and put it up. She looked incredible.

I didn't get to go to the con right away... I had to stay at school for choir practice, as did Shantell and Maria, but Patti and Jordona went. So Vic Mignogna was going to be there, and he's my favorite voice actor. His signing was while I was at school so Patti waited in a line for FOREVER to get him to sign my Tamaki plushie!!! IM SO THANKFUL! It's brilliant! I'll have to take a picture! THANK YOU PATTI! I didn't get to meet him myself, but I DID stand like... 15 feet away from him at one time. I was really excited. *is ashamed*

There was this cute little girl dressed up as Chibi-usa both days. And WE LOVED HER. Everytime we saw her we had to give her insane amounts of hugs. :3 There were a lot of great cosplayers. Ichidan was awesome. I loved the Host Club play they did. The Kyoya was incredible. I swear.

My friend Andrew and his little brother were Mori and Hunny and everyone LOVED THEM. They one the cosplay contest for presentation (staying in character). It was great. They were so adorable.

The next day I was The Mad Hatter, with my friend Maria as Alice. Patti was Willy Wonka, and Shantell was Ms. Lovett from Sweeny Todd. We were the "non-anime" group roaming around. People loved us. :iconbri-chan: is what inspired me to do it. And I had a LOT of people recognize me as the Mad Hatter from her art. I just smiled and nodded. The Disneyland Mad Hatters are the best. It really was fun. We pranced around and just enjoyed ourselves. We don't know if we can go next year together, since we're all growing up and going to college. D: That's a horrifying thought. This is really vague, but I thought I'd give a small review!

Thank you for everything, whoever contributed to the convention, and my friends!
